Ideal for transition into the modern production environment
The analog outputs are automatically controlled by the intelligent JVL motor and can be used together with all the Ethernet protocols the motor supports. Meaning you can add a modern industrial ethernet based controller, but still have the motor output e.g. a position or speed via the analog outputs to give feed-back to process equipment.
2 Outputs with full flexibility and galvanic isolation
The 2 analog outputs can be used simultaneously, independent of each other, and you can easily set them up to suit your needs.
1 is a dedicated current output, and one is a dedicated voltage output. The minimum and maximum output current/voltage can freely be set up in the motor, giving you full freedom and flexibility.
Both outputs are protected by galvanic isolation, for the highest possible safety.
Integrated high accuracy feedback
The built-in encoder boasts a market-leading resolution of 409600 counts/revolution, ensuring smooth motor operation at any speed, in increments of 0.01 RPM. Furthermore, all ServoStep™ motors can operate at speeds of up to 3000 RPM with high efficiency due to optimized current regulation.
The optional absolute multi-turn encoder allows for set-and-forget operation, where you can always trust the position, without ever having to perform a homing.
All-in-One Unit
ServoStep™ motors come fully integrated with motor, encoder, drive electronics, control electronics featuring ePLC™, and optional Ethernet or CAN bus, all packed into one compact unit. They support all major industrial Ethernet protocols, including Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, SERCOS, ModbusTCP/UDP, and Powerlink. Options also include absolute multiturn encoders and STO (safe torque off, SIL3). Additionally, to the 2 dedicated analog outputs, the unit features 8 I/O points that can be individually configured as digital inputs or outputs, or as analog inputs. These I/Os can be utilized as local/remote I/Os for the central PLC, or in conjunction with the ePLC™ in standalone applications.
Ethernet Switch for Daisy-Chain Connection
Choose from all major Ethernet protocols, and thanks to the built-in Ethernet switch, connect all your motors with just one cable running between them.
