Birkerød, Denmark - JVL A/S, one of the world’s leading producers in the field of integrated servo and stepper motors, is announcing our own plug-n-play power supply optimizer – PDA072. This is an automatic power dump circuit and CVI control voltage power supply, that will protect both your motor and power supply.
Have you ever experienced that your power supply shuts down when your motor is slowing down?
This is because your motor will produce return energy when decelerating, also called back-emf. With the new power supply optimizer, this is no longer a problem! With the built-in power dump circuit, both your motor and power supply are much better protected.
Easy plug-n-play installation
The power supply optimizer uses the same industrial grade M12 connectors as you find in our integrated motors.
It is easily inserted in-line with the power cable you use for your DC driven JVL motor.
It will automatically adjust to the voltage level you use, so you order the same part number for 12Vdc battery applications as you do for high-power 72Vdc applications.

Retrofitting without any further installation or settings needed
If you have already installed a motor in your machine, and experience over voltage errors, you can simply retrofit the PDA072 in-line with the standard JVL power cable – no further installation or settings are required!
